a book with a bunch of flowers on top of it

You didn't stumble here by accident.

This is a space for the parts of you that don't fit neatly into a caption. The grief that's still showing up uninvited. The version of yourself you're still figuring out. The story you've been too scared, or too tired, to tell out loud.

I write the way I wish someone had talked to me. No filter, no fluff, no toxic positivity. Just truth, a little poetry, and the kind of honesty that feels like a best friend who actually shows up. A best friend with a potty mouth. A best friend who will never leave you.

Welcome to Rewriting My Truth. Stay as long as you need.

We are a product of our past, but we don't have to let it define us forever.

In the beginning, it was just me, a keyboard, and the kind of pain that doesn’t knock — it kicks the door in. I wrote from the floor because standing felt dishonest. My voice was the last thing I still owned, so I sharpened it. I carved truth out of the wreckage, clumsy at first, then cleaner, then lethal. I didn’t know what healing looked like, but I knew the shape of breaking — and I refused to stay small inside it.

Now I’m here with a spine I rebuilt bone by bone, without permission, without applause. I stitched myself back together with thread made of grit and instinct, leaving the edges jagged on purpose. I choose truth that burns, softness that bites back, and a life that finally fits the woman I became in the aftermath. Still wild. Still unfiltered. Still rewriting myself in real time.

And where I’m going? Forward, teeth bared. Bigger. Braver. Louder. I’m turning the scars, the lessons, the rage, the resurrection — all of it — into something that refuses to be ignored. A book. A community. A place for women who’ve been told to quiet down, calm down, sit down. A place for the ones who survived by going feral. A place where we don’t apologize for the fire it took to get here.

Look away if you want. But I’m not dimming for anyone.
